Here is what herbalicious came up with

Here’s the script:
Hello, My name is ____________________ and I am calling ____[name of Assembly member]________ about SB 847 that will force collectives to be at least 600 feet from all residential USE. This will force patients to obtain their medicinal marijuana from illegal sources. Would you please ask ________[name of assemblymember]________ to oppose SB 847. Thank you.

Because I am not sure about the amendment.

Lanny said to use either script

Dear Collective Member,

TODAY we need your help to fight two alarming bills before the California state legislature that jeopardize collectives and dispensaries from being able to stay open and operate. These bills, SB847 and AB1300 affect all of California's cities and counties, further restricting zoning and allowing those cities and counties to ban safe access entirely. The votes on these bills are coming up quick. Time is of the essence and we need your help TODAY!

Right now we are asking that you call one or more of the Assembly members on the list below and utilizing the script below ask them to support an amendment to SB 847 that would exclude small collectives from the requirements of this bill.

We also ask that you email this information to your contact lists, social media accounts and reach out to other patients and caregivers – We ALL need to contact our Assembly Members today. Using the script below, call one or more Assembly members from the list below. When your call is answered, simply read the script (feel free to embellish it in any you wish) and thank them for providing your information to the Assembly member. Then call another assembly member on the list until you have called as many as you can.

Will you contact your Assembly members on this bill TODAY?

Thank you again so much for your time. If you have any questions you can contact Lanny at 760-799-2055 for more information. Please help pass this information along!

Here’s the script:

Hello, My name is ____________________ and I am calling ____(name of Assembly member)________ about SB 847 that will make illegal the small collectives patients form to cultivate at someone’s home. This will force patients to obtain their medicinal marijuana from illegal sources. Would you please ask ________(name of assemblymember)________ to add and support an amendment to SB 847 saying that this bill does not apply to small collectives with 10 or fewer members. Thank you.

Hello my name is ________________________ and I am calling your collective to update you on current legislation that will shut down the majority of collectives and dispensaries in California. May I speak with the person in charge that will assist in getting these urgent updates communicated to your patients?

Thank you so much for your valuable time and I will make this brief. There are two alarming bills before California state legislatures that jeopardize collectives and dispensaries from being able to stay open and operate. These bills, SB847 and AB 1300, affect all of California's cities and counties, further restricting zoning and allowing those cities and counties to ban safe access entirely. The votes on these bills are coming up quickly. Time is of the essence and we need your help TODAY!

Right now we are first going to work on SB 847. We are asking you to send the attached letter to all your patients asking them to call the listed assembly members SB 847. When calling they can utilize the provided script to let the assembly members know of their concerns when their call is answered. Please utilize your patient email databases, contact lists and social media accounts to reach as many people as possible. We need to tell ALL of your patients to contact these Assembly Members ASAP.

What is your email address so I can send you the letter to send to your collective members about SB 847 along with the script to use when calling any or all of the assembly members listed in the letter.

Thank you again so much for your time. If you have any questions you can contact Lanny at 760-799-2055 for more information. Please help pass this information along!

Everybody please check your file folders at the header of this forum. I have just updated the last 4 people for permission to view the folder Call to Action . This is the secure folder for all members and there are scripts in this area for you to review, use and modify to best fit your comfort level. If you can't see them please let me know. Thanks,
Dan

I can't find this SCRIPT we all talked about in the conference call. SO, I'm making my own. AND I'm just doing this on my own. I get slowed down when we try to GET TOGHETER. I'm taking San Bernardino (city). I'm covering ALL of the collectives here.
